pad 11/17/2005 10:00 AM

I just saw the others on tv over the last few weeks, I like them but I can wait till the crowds die down.

Dolfan0925 11/17/2005 10:42 AM

I still need to see the last one...

Andrew 11/17/2005 02:55 PM

Not tonight but later on in the week or weekend.

Jordan55 11/18/2005 03:16 AM

So.....

THAT MOVIE WAS SAWEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!

crzy4reefs 11/18/2005 06:52 AM

ohhh was it, i'm dying to see it. it looked awsome but i'm never dissapointed with a harry potter movie.

Jordan55 11/18/2005 10:33 AM

Well obviously they could not put the whole boom into the movie... and that was one thing I was worried about. But they did an awsome job on taking out the less important. Some things I did miss.... but it was just so sweet.

My mom let me stay home today from school.... I think I am going to see it again here soon.

TheBimbo 11/18/2005 11:59 AM

My 21 year old niece went to see it, she said it was the best movie ever... I just haven't been able to get hooked on the whole Harry Potter thing...

TheBimbo...

Heinz 11/18/2005 12:56 PM

i dont get Harry Potter, the only way that i would watch it, if somebody would tie me to a shair but other then that, i wont watch any Harry Potter movies,
but what ever works for you :D

KafudaFish 11/18/2005 01:08 PM

This weekend on IMAX. One of my wife's students saw it at midnight and said it was really good but much had been left out. I don't understand why Lord of the Rings can be 3+ hours and HP be only 2-2.5 hours.

Jordan55 11/18/2005 03:13 PM

I just went to see it again.

2nd time was probably better.

I think I am going again tonight:D

I'll go but it will be the late show to avoid screaming children!

llpoolej 11/18/2005 05:32 PM

I think we are going to go to a Monday Morning show while the kids are in school!!!!

dcoufal 11/18/2005 06:00 PM

My wife and I went to the 11:50am showing this morning. I'd say there were maybe 40 people in the theater.

5 under the age of 5
Everyone else was at least 30 years old.... many were 65+!!

Good movie; but, it's really *not* for children under 13.

I am going Saturday with my hubby and two friends, my two step kids 17 and 14 don't want to go, I'll go and have fun for them

Jordan55 11/18/2005 07:46 PM

Most of the shows were sold out here tonight.... and I couldn't find anyone to go with.

I mean... I have seen the movie two times and would love to see it a 3rd, 4th, 5th and so on. Geeze.... Harry fans around here suck.

I think I am gonna go tomorrow... I just gotta talk some sense into people.

skippy2 11/18/2005 10:55 PM

I am taking my Grandson tomorrow. He called me today and even though he and I have always seen the movie together I thought now that he is 16 he wouldn't want to go with his Grandma.

sdbeazley 11/18/2005 11:46 PM

I saw it today, had to sit in the very first row of the seater but still awesome! Best one so far...

Jordan55 11/20/2005 09:08 PM

$101.4 million opening weekend.

That puts Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in 4th place for most money openign weekend.

I HAVE to see it this week sometime again or I will go insane.

Harry Potter is fluff science fiction/fantasy, Lord of the Rings is classic, meaningful literature. The target audiences are different, though they do obviously overlap.

. . . not trying to sound negative about Harry Potter, of course.

Jordan55 11/20/2005 09:18 PM

FYI-

They were going to make HP4 into two movies....but they could not find a good breaking point in the book to do so.

I would figure they would have much more details from the books if they did this.... but...

they did an awesome job for only 2 hours and 37 minutes of movie time.
