Shy Rabbitfish

I have a Single Spot Rabbitfish that seems unusually shy lately. Spends a lot of time hiding but does come out for feedings. No new tank inhabitants, no new tank disruptions, normal chemistries w/nothing out of wack, and he shows no outward signs of disease (all fish in tank seem healthy). Any thoughts? Are they usually shy?

Is your rabbitfish new? My rabbitfish were very shy and skittish when I first got them. After a few months, they became a lot more bold. Now, they try to rip nori out of my hand before I can attatch it to a clip.

I had him for about two months.
