I love them too! Someone has a blue one! Mine is similar to the orange and green one... Love your pictures ...

This thread has promise. I may tag along. I think they are neat corals, though I don't have room for any in my current tank.

Wow, they are beautiful. I've never had a tank with a big enough sandbed for any, but now...hmm...

They dont need sand; in fact, they prefer to be on something hard,

Joe that orange cyclo with blue speckling ins really cool. When are you gonna be building the new systems? let me know when you want me to come help you put it together.

joetbs 12/27/2007 10:21 AM

jake, sent you an email.

Hormigaquatica 12/27/2007 01:02 PM

coralite, mind if I ask where you picked up your orange and blue one? Ive not seen that particular morph around here before... thx

coralite 12/27/2007 01:07 PM

Hey Hormie,
I picked up my orange and green one at an LFS. It had no green visible in it when I got it. The orange and blue one belongs to Joe, you'll have to ask him where he got his.

CableGuy 12/27/2007 06:14 PM

fungia's are my all time favorite coral. I want to dedicate a tank to them one day. That Orange and green one is insane! Is that a current picture of it?
Here is my new blue baby.

Caleb Kruse 12/27/2007 07:11 PM

Jake you should add that green and orange one to Coralidea.

clint conway 12/27/2007 09:04 PM

joetbs 12/28/2007 12:52 AM

here are some actinic shots - t5s on an IC660. no editing cos i'm too lazy...some top down, some head on. Fungia, cycloseris, diaseris, lithophyllion, herpolitha, halomitra/sandalolitha, and polyphyllia. i want to convert the tank into a lagoon tank with fungias, chalices, duncans, garden eels & curious wormfish eventually.
