Two-part solution

Has anyone used the Two-Part Solution calcium/buffer additive sold at www.twopartsolution.com? It looks like it's much cheaper than the ESV Bionic two-part I use now and not a big hassle to prepare.

i use it. i like that you don't have to bake the alk part like you do with traditional baking soda.

I'm also a user of DIY 2 part and highly recommend it compared to shelling out the big $$ for premixed solution. The chemicals are the same and when you buy in bulk you get big savings. Not baking my baking soda makes the task of mixing new alk solution soooooo much less painless.

I use the anhydrous calcium chloride from twopartsolution but I prefer to use traditional baking soda for the alkalinity. Sam's Club sells a 12lb bag for $5.42 and that is as cheap as alkalinity gets in a reef tank.
