Show me your brain!

Lately I'm fascinated by open brains, just wondered if anyone would like to share some pictures. I'll show you mine if you show me yours :P

Here's my little guy just after being fed - I think he wants more!

Probably my favorite coral, it is huge probably 8'' across and 3.5'' tall when fully inflated. Been doing great for ~15 months now.

I've seen mine take some big meals, but I didn't know they'd consume an entire fish... that poor damsel!
Thanks so much for indulging me with these phenomenal pics! Those are some gorgeous brains.

Before yall start worrying about brains eating fish, I know that the ONLY reason my damsel was killed was because it has a bad case of velvet.

Question, I notice all big brains are all cruvey and twisted (like the first one I quoted above). And small ones are rounder almost a circle (like the second one I quoted above). Do these get more un-uniform as they grow larger? Or is it just different species that determine how uniform it is?

And why have I not seen much large red brains?

I thought brains reproduced like Candy Canes in that they start getting irregular shapes and "pinching off" to form new brains?? Possibly this is the reason of those "curvey and twisted" shapes?

I don't think that is how it works, but that would be very cool to wake up and have 2 brains instead of one.:eek1:
