Tank Shot updates 12/31/07
I used to post in here a lot, but I lost some fish, and started stocking corals. Some could still say it's a Predator Reef, so here's some pics.

Wow, looks real nice. Love the Vlamingi Tang! How big is he?
dude your tank is hot.
Very nice I am glad to see others having triggers with corals as I do.Nice setup in the wall to.Happy New Year All!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris
Mark Murray has no penis. But has a nice tank. Nice frags.
Thanks for the compliments...
TheSaltwaterGuy, the Vlamingii is about 7" or so, He is really fat and girthy. Had him for about a year. Bugitup, cmon man, you know I have one, you have performed odd rituals on it. |
Nice tank, ever thought of a ball going wild and breaking the tank?
awesome tank love the mix of fish and corals do you ever have a problem with the fish eating the corals?
Titan*69, The tanks acrylic, so I don't think a ball would break it, but when we break, we stand at the tank end, thats the most common time for balls to jump.
jmadd, no, not with these fish. |
Your humu looks really nice. Reminds me of the 6 inch one I had last year for a week that died mysteriously. I'm pretty sure it was cyanide poisoning, so sad.
Nice tank!
Is that humu pretty aggressive? I was thinking of getting one but they seem like they get pretty nasty. Also does your snowflake cruise the top looking for ways out? I have had one for about a week now and he seems to go near the top and stick half of his body out. |
The humu is only aggressive to certain fish. When I add new fish he kills them sometimes, and other times he leaves them alone. There is a lot of space, so he is not aggressive to the other fish in the tank.
And yeah the snowflakes name is Jose, and he always cruises and looks around the top of the back wall. There are no open holes now, tape and lights cover it all up well. |
My snowflake does the same thing. I actually lost him for awhile when he was in my aquapod. He got into the back filter while I was cleaning one day. Didnt notice for a couple of days until I wass checking something and seen his head popup scared the crap out of me lol!
great looking tank
I love the yellow tang pic. It was very creative.
Love it! Makes me want to try a humu in my tank.
Sweet shots man. Soon you might have some exquisite shots to post up here. he's a little big for my tank. What do you think?
Thanks man, I got some pics of that wrasse in my tank, he looks bomb.
ummm what happened to all your other fish? you had some really nice ones.
great job on putting that in the wall, looks great. |
Well the only others I had a few others really. I had some puffers, removed my last one to start stocking corals. I had a clown trigger, who died about a year ago. I had a crazy Fimbriatus Eel, it ate my blue tang, flame angel, and clown tang in a couple weeks... I took that eel out about a year ago as well. I had a nice large Niger trigger, but he starting picking on my Vlamingii tang, so I pulled him out... Here is my new exquisite wrasse, I will post better pics soon.
