my clown has white bumps?
 

HELP! i dunno what to do my clown has white bumps what should i do.

Are they more like white little dots? Probally ich. Can you post a picture.

Do you have any garlic extract? Many people claim that works great added to the water and food.

What else do you have in the tank? Do you have a hospital tank? These details can help us make suggestions.

its like white bump from his tail to his head i have him a tank and 25 lbs. of lr and xenia coral. i have a hospital tank i was told to do freshwater dip so im doing that wen i catch him i donno wat garlic extract is and dont have any probably?

What does the specks look like?
The hospital tank you mention,is this set up right now?
Personally,I wouldn't do freshwater dip,it stresses them out bad.But if you do make sure that water temp and PH is the same or you'll kill that fish.You need to go to the fish disease forum and look up crypto and also Hypo treatment.

Well,there's two ways to treat.

1)One is to put the fish in the hospital tank and slowly lower your specific gravity down from 1.025 to 1.010 via a refractor by .002 every 6 hrs.
Keep it at 1.010 for two weeks after the spots disapear.
Then slowly raise it bck up to 1.025 again.

2)Is to treat with copper(in the hospital tank) following the instructions on the package to a tee.

Correct. IMO setting up a drip @ about 3-5 drops/second would be the way to go, testing the salinity every so often until the desired salt concentration is (slowly) reached.

I agree with hypo if it is ich. Shoot for a salinity of 1.009
