male and female tangs
how can you tell the difference:confused:
|
from all that i've read over the years, there is no external difference. They have never been bred in captivity either i dont think.

I have heard the same. Apparently raising them takes a LONG time. Kinda like shrimps apparently.
Something I am interested in as I have picked up a pair of Scopas Tangs and if they spawn I'd be keen to give it a go. |
They've spawned in captivity, but from what I know only in really large tanks (like aquariums). The larvae spend a long time in the plankton.
