BAD Purchace From Joe18
 

I bought 5 corals from Joe18 in May, all of them where dead except the one he gave me for "Free" On the day of shipment I get a call from Usps stating they have a wet smelly box. I went to pick it up, and the box was soaked and smelled of dead acro tissue. 3 of the bags had no water, and 2 where in black water. The free one was alive. The 2 that had water in the bag most likely died from the 2 heat packs he included with a shipment to South Texas in the summer. I tried fileing a claim with cc company with no luck, because he did not gurantee it even though he did not triple bag like he said. I would not make a big deal of it if 1, 2, or even 3 were dead but all 5....come on.

BEWARE and do not throw you money away with him.

I also orderred from Joe and recieved nothing.

I have gotten ahold of him several times since then, and he always has a new excuse. Last time he said he never got my address, but I have emails telling him it and the fact that he could get it from paypal. He told me in August that he was going out of town(leaving the country) and that he would ship as soon as he got back. This was the 2nd time he used that exact same excuse. I have been waiting for him to get back, but I am beginning to think that Joe18 isn't coming back(at least the screen-name Joe18)

Has anyone else had any problems with him? He had a thread back in May, in it he was selling some micro's and Jap acans. Did anyone buy something from him and actually recieve it(alive or in good shape)? Hopefully chadhender and myself were the only 2 people to have problems with Joe18, I hope he didn't rip others off like he did to us.

I bought from Joe18 back in May. I did receive the shipment, but was not to impressed w/the frags or the actual color of the frags.
His communication was great at the beginning but towards the end when it was time to ship I had to have a friend get ahold of him.

I will also mention that some of the skeletons that I recived where dark green with algae like they had been dead for a while, the others where RTNing in the bag...... I tried to even give the guy the benefit of the doubt on here but I am pretty confident that they were prob. dead and shipped the way I got them to apear that the bag came open during shippment.

Yup all in all that sounds bad, like he's selling anything that gets sick in his tank or dies. Will def avoid thanks for the heads up
