I would keep an eye on that brain. It looks a little bleached out and appears that it was damaged at that area where the skeleton is getting exposed. Keep the water quality up and make sure to feed it enough. |
Taks for the reply Genin. DO you think I should moe it down in the tank? it's about 2/3 of the way up in a 16" deep tank with a 96w compact flourescent.

i have aquick question about their growth...I got one off a friend, it is about 3inches across...with the right water parameters etc, what type of growth should I expect?

I picked this big boy up at a LFS for $60. It is easily the size of a muskmelon.
