The ATI skimmer is on the way :-) After the installation i'll present new pics.

hawaiianwargod 09/29/2006 11:26 AM

Nice work Iwan....indeed very fast. Too much time to kill perhaps? lol.

iwan 09/29/2006 02:33 PM

I have received many messages with the request to show my new tank.
Of course I do not want to destroy the tension. But I do not want to betray everything to you.
Therefore I show a first, shadowy picture. The picture then looks a little clearer every week.

WOW nice setting!!
please update the progress with zeo system, cause im planning to set new tank with zeo system as well.

question for the zeovit, did u use individual fluidizer or use 3 inline chamber with carbon & po4 removal??

good luck with the project

Ginzo 10/05/2006 01:32 PM

This might be a "newbie" question, but is Zeovit and Zeolite the same product ???

Zeolite is a type of stone. There are a range of different zeolites, natural and man made that have different applications in industry and aquuaculture.

ZEOvit (Korralen Zucht) is one of a number of companies that select and sell on zeolites to reefers and fresh water aquarists. Zeovit also make or distribute a whole range of reefing products that when used together are distinctive enough to be called the ZEOvit method.

So does the use of Probidio or Zeolite and it's associated additives pretty much eliminate the need to use coral foods such as DT's phyto, rotifers, etc?

Zeolite do not replace coral food. The consistent use of the Zeovit line contains a specific feeding of the corals. There are special products (amino acids, CoralVitalizer) for it.
By the daily cleaning of the zeovit material bacterium containing mulm is washed out. This mulm also is used by the corals as a food source.
question for the zeovit, did u use individual fluidizer or use 3 inline chamber with carbon & po4 removal??
I am using a special zeovit filter. This filter allows a easy cleaning of the material. I have 4 chambers in the sump, but use only carbon in one chamber. A po4 absorber i not necessary because the po4 level is 0.

Wayner2 10/06/2006 12:01 AM

But, have you got the ATI BubbleMaster hooked up yet?, like to get your opinion cause I'm seriously considering pre-ordering one.

Thanks

iwan 10/06/2006 01:05 AM

I still wait for the BM. There were problems at the custom, the delivery was returned to ATI last week. I hope now that I get the BM today or on Monday.
