amino adcid

is anyone here adding Amino acid to their tank ? I've heard that it is very benefitial to sps and lps.

I read that amino acids should be plentiful in the food. Mysis shrimp are a great source of amino acids (protein). I got some mysis from James that are 79% protein. The fish love them and I get some serious polyp extension when ever I feed it.

Well, the fish have to eat it and then process it and poop it out before the coral get it :D

but Salifert made one that has the same amino acid found in the coral skeleton

I've been reading about people adding aminos and stuff like creatine to help their corals. I saw a thread in the advanced aquarists forum about a guy trying a few different kinds of aminos and actually selling his mix to experiment with for very cheap.
