I ended up having to go to Atlanta Tuesday and Wednesday for a seminar. Well, while I was there I decided to go by a fish store called Cappuccino Bay over in Marietta, GA. I have heard raving reviews from people in AL & GA saying it was one of the best. I went in there and was blown away. It was strictly salt. They had everything and tons of it. Probably over 200 clams, tons of critters, and tanks and tanks of softies, LPS, & SPS's. Some of the most incredible SPS's I have ever seen. Here are some of the SPS tanks they had. They thought I was crazy in there trying to take pictures for yall.

The $59 tank is on the right, $79 on left. Tanks ranged from like 4' x 4' to 6' x 6'

The $99 tank. sizes are about baseball to soft ball

The $129 tank. sizes are about softball and up

The $19.99 frag tank

Another tank with acros, clams, & others. probably a 6' x 6' tank.

Now my crappy camera doesnt pick up colors too well so most of these acros are just incredible. I think they base cost on size and not color/type. Most sps's were acros. Any kind you wanted, even deep water. Truly amazing.

Oh, out of all of that, this was the only thing I picked up:( It's a granny smith apple colored monti cap about the size of a 1/2 dollar peice. It was $19 in the frat tank.
Sorry for the crappy pic

I went up to that very store probably 3-4 months ago. That place rocks! Their acro and clam selection was absolutely phenomenal. They're a bit off the beaten track if you're in Atlanta proper, but well worth the visit. I don't suppose you made it to the Georgia Aquarium? That place is pretty amazing as well. We may have to do a group field trip up there sometime. I wouldn't do the behind the scenes tour again because it's kind of expensive ($50), but it was pretty cool to do once.

Don't you just love stores like that, there is one like that down in the Tampa area. Thanks for the heads up on this one.

Do you know the name of the store in Tampa you're referring to? I keep thinking about heading out that way when I go visit my parents. I have to go through Orlando anyway, and Tampa isn't really all that far out of the way.

How were their prices? I'll be in Atlanta tomorrow and wanted to grab a few things. We have a great LFS here, but always good to look elsewhere! :)
