Has anyone seen/used one of these? I would like to add one to my 55gal softcoral/fish tank.

I have seen them in the store but never used one. IMO, I do not think they would contibute much to your tank. For the price of buying hatched brine shrimp why bother? Brine shrimp have very low nutriional value anyway.

I disagree!!! I have the hatchery in my 75g for my Pipefish....I add 2 drops of Selcon to the water to gut feed the shrimp...works great!!!

From the reading I've done living brine shrimp has plenty of nutrition. Its the dead brine that lacks nutrition value.

Only the newly hatched (baby) shrimp have any nutrition due to the egg sack goodies. Once they grow a little, there is zilch. Mysis is much better.
(gut feeding them the Selcon is where they get some nutrition:) )
