This month Agu Lukk demonstrates a technique for fragmenting Frogspawn corals in the article, "Propagating Euphyllia sp. (Frogspawn)."

The way i frag grogspawns is break it like a wish bone and move it to a different location.. lol

How big was the grogspawn when you bought it? How long does it take to produce branches?

Um, the editor in me has to inform everyone that the coral under discussion is a Frogspawn, i.e. resembling a frog's spawn of eggs. :D

Here's a pic from last Feb when it was fragged into two separate pieces. They're the same two pieces as the first post of this thread. I've taken about 10 frags from the two of them since that pic was taken.
