anyone local have any chaeto!!

i finished setting up my sump/refug and i now need some chaetomorpha, i had some of the grape macro in my old above refug but i trashed 98 % of it , wasnt looking to put it in my new refug i made.

Killingseed - I have just set up my sump also but I'm willing to bring you a small ziplock bag of whatever kind you want from mine. I have the grape and some of this <a href=http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=862673&perpage=25&pagenumber=1” target="_blank">Chaeto</a> I bought off of that thread here on RC. You can see all the critters on the white pipe. It is full of them! I will not be at work tomorrow but can bring it to work on Thursday or Friday and we could meet. I will also be in EP Saturday too. killingseed – You are welcome! Thank you for the zoo frag.:thumbsup: It is sitting in the tank and they opened almost immediately.

Funny you should mention that extra sump I have as my wife is wondering when I was going to get rid of it! If anyone is interested in it please PM me for more information. We can trade for something or I will make you a good deal. It’s really an older U.S. Aquarium wet/dry sump with a separate refugium. Here is a picture of it.

It’s that time again! I have a bunch of the grape caulerpa that I need to prune back. It’s growing out of the tank and there are a lot of pods in it too!! You’re welcome to come and get it!! PM me. If you don’t get some I will be forced to dump it.

just to try and help jay out maybe, I know what its like when its time to harvest. for those of you local that might not be running a refuge and maybe you have a scooter blenny , dragonet, or any fish that needs or prefers live food. Some of these fish can clean your tanks out of pods in a matter of months depending on tanks size and fish kept. Other fish will eat the pods as well like Damsel , angles, 6 lines and tangs so it also make a great food source for them as well or help rebuild/replenish your pods with things like mysis, iso pods and cope pods. You can still get the algae and blow the pods off it into your tanks. Even though I have a refuge I still blow them off the algae into my main tank before I trash some of it to make room for new growth to fill the refuge. I have watched most my fish eat what comes out of the algae when blown into the tank or just dropping them in when I find them in odd places.
