DIY Filter socks

Made some DIY filter socks this weekend and I cant believe how good they work!! Put one on my overflow tubes and one on my skimmer. NO MORE MICRO BUBBLES!!!! Made them out of craft felt from a fabric store (about 35cents apeice) no flow restriction at all. Wish I would have done this sooner. If you dont use them you should try you will not believe what they do!!

Definitely...I dont have a sewing machine though unfortuantely. Perhaps we could make some at the meeting?? I certainly could use some new ones :)

I hope to get to the meeting really wanting to meet all the people I talk to on BNARC!!! I have to admit that my better half really made them... I just cut them out. I found a web site that had them but cant find it anymore. The good thing about these is you can make them any size you want. I still cant believe how good they work. I'll try and get some pics later so everybody can see!
