Any Ideas???

Tonight I came home from work to find this odd item in the middle of my "fuzzy mushrooms". I don't know what it is. These pics are not real clear, but if you have ideas let me know.

i would guess some sort of "get of my turf" tentecles, keep an eye on the xenia and see how it feels like in the morning.

It was wierd. It was in the fuzzy mushroom. But when I went to bed last night I checked and it was gone. Wierd.

I have that in my aquarium. I dont know what it is either. It almost looks like a spider webb and it grows from my live rock. It usually reaches over to other rock and grabs any debris it can find. It comes out of its' whole randomly. Let me know if you get any word on it, I will try and get a picture of it in my tank tonight as well.

I believe it is a vermetid snail (hitchiker from rock)

Could have just decided to slime. Mine do that once in a while

My hairy shrooms do that whenever something gets too close to them, or if some sand or snails or something gets on it. They get aggitated. I've also noticed that they do that when they are ready to split.
