Thanks to Ken for letting us take some pictures of his great display tanks.

Here is his Arch tank. You really have to see it in person. With the backlighting it is hard to get a decent picture of it.

Can you tell me where Alan's store is located?

Thanks.

Actually Alan is the only individual tank that we were able to squeeze into the road trip. He doesn't have a store. I do think he is about ready to start fragging some of his corals as they grow too close, but you would have to ask him about that. He goes by Hyacynth on the boards.

Great pictures Doug,

I really wish I could have been around to join you guys. Really sorry I missed it. Anothony is younger then I thought, don't know why I though he was an older guy.

Yeah, I don't know why but I was also expecting some grey haired old barnacle. Not from our discussions and e-mail, he seemed pretty hip and upbeat. But I guess that there is this unspoken view in the aquarium trade that you must be grey, balding, or otherwise aged to be a respected pillar of knowledge. Anthony just goes to show you that you can't stereotype everyone of authority :D

I wish I had a higher resolution camera. These photos barely do these tanks justice. Aquarium Concepts is also very hard to photograph because the store is so bright :D . Big change from the gloomy old store where all the light was blocked from entering by a huge pile of tanks and equipment.

Although I had to cut the road trip short because my ******* rearended some hillbilly's car trailer; I shot over to Aquarium Concepts and Tropical Paradise the other weekend.

Aquarium Concepts was cool because of the variety of stuff that they had, but Tropical Paradise was pretty amazing; I have never seen so many corals. The wave maker set up that they had was pretty sweet too.

BTW: 98 Contour vs. 94 GMC PU w/ car trailer.

I bent the frame on the hill billy's truck, not sure if it is a total, and I only bent my hood a little and scratched my bumber, now that is Ford Tough. HA
