Where has every one gone? Now since everyone has a high enough post count for their own personal avatar they have just stopped posting topics. who could that be?

ha ha, 2 weeks ago i started a new job in the bayveiw district in the city and it took me 2 1/2 hours to get home but i just quit that job and im back to working localy as of monday

that drive must of sucked. How is that piece of acropora you got after the meeting?

Doing really well, the only problem im having right now is all my sps that have collored tips like that acropora, the coral does great but the tips loose their different color and the coral changes to all the same color. getting great pollup extention and growth just a little fading? Any ideas

Jeff, color loss on the tip tie to several things ... alkalinity swing (this usualy tie to burn tips) ligh bulb getting old and need to be replaced .... check to see if your corals are getting brown at the base ... if that is the case then you have a different problem all together

nope, no brown at base, and halide is about 5 months old, but posibility on my alkalinity. since i took that job in san fransisco i hadnt been dosing as regularly, but im back on schedual and hopefully i can try a few other things and see if color will come back
