Well I took all my fish out of the tank yesterday and moved them into QT.

How ever after I put all corals and rock back in the tank I realized I forgot to take my trigger out.

I didn't want to take everything out again or spend $30 on a fish trap so I made my own out of a 2L bottle.

It took 5 minutes to catch the trigger.

i'm going to start taking bets for the numbers of days the fish survive in the death tank. :p

but seriously, keep an eye on your ammonia, man. you may have to do 50% water changes a couple of times with adding that much bio load all at once. check it often!

I hate to say this again, but it will save your fish...Amquel+ will neutralize any ammonia/nitrite/nitrate immediately giving you time to do the water change. I assume you are using hypo?

Yes, he is going to use hypo.
I am hoping he will continue to closely monitor ammonia.
With how he was dosing ammonia though I think it will handle the bio load. :fingerscrossed:

Well my fast test ammonia test kit says I have .4 ammonia but my AP test kit says it is 0.

They both read the same the other day, the only thing that has changed is the sg from 1.018 - .009 and I've been adding melafix.

Could the melafix be messing up the fast test results?

I added some prime just incase.

It makes me think it was wrong as I've changed over %50 of the water in the last two days.

just watch the fish. If they look ok then it could be a false reeding
