Meeting/swap/talk??

I know this club is just starting, but I surely want to be involved. Has anyone thought of setting up a meeting? I live in Alamogordo, NM and have at least 2 other people how would be interested. I learned of this club through Sam At The Coral Reef. Maybe we could meet up some where have some food, drinks, talk fish maybe discuss frag trading and if possible bring photo's of everyone's tanks. And if Sam is watching since your the only one I even remotely know maybe you could mention a reasonabley price place to meet? And if any one has frags for sale or trade sps, lps, softies or even possibly other critters and live in El paso or within driving distance contact me I'm always interested. Anyways contact me if your interested!!!

yo mitchellmoto welcome to RC . there is a slot of useful information here at RC , thats for sure.

we are talked about getting togather a couples time. there a few of looking to setup a meeting and get togathers. i think at this point one thing is to try people to share and chat here on RC about thier tanks , setup, hardware , sharing images as well as maybe chating about trading and or selling of frags.

i think we could setup a place to meeting and see how many show up. would be great if the people showing up would bring things like pic;s or images for sharing and maybe chat about trading. could give a glance at how many are intrested what people might be looking to get out of it and so on.

we would have to plan it get something down on paper and do it~

Sounds great I'll talk to my 2 friends to make sure they are up for it, I'm sure they are but I'll just make sure and hopefully more people will chime in on this thread.

We have talked about getting together a couples times. There’s a few of us looking to setup a meeting and get together. I think at this point one good thing would be to get them chatting, sharing about their tanks here on RC. Would be great to see a little more action here in this section of the forums, for our local areas, would be nice to see more setup, hardware, sharing images as well as maybe chatting about trading and or selling of frags.

we would have to plan it, get something down or what ever, would be nice to have a topic maybe to chat over, can even post some flyers around about it . just need to working on a good plane of action and attack it~

Welcome mitchellmoto....like killingseed said, we need to get people chatting on this site and get some interest going.

I think some ideas of meeting could be at a Pizza place or an Applebees, etc....I dont know what day or times are good but we could put that out there for some ideas.

Hey sam last time I was down there you said you were going to try to get some sps's maybe acros. Did you ever get any?

Yes I did get some, Blue Millepora, Fuzzy Staghorn, Chips Acro, Green Birds Nest , Miami Orchid Stag and about 5 others....killingseed, you know your my pics guy.

Now, let's see how many show up. ELPMAS is not new by far. There were meetings going on about 2-3 years ago (Sam or Josh may remember better) and then it seemed to fade away. I got to attend 2 or 3 meetings but living on the south side of the border just makes it harder because of the traffic at the border crossing.

I really hope this time ELPMAS makes it, or if I'm wrong and it has been going on all of this time, well...great!

Jaxon's on Airway is fairly central and it is just down the street from my clinic so you guys can come over to check out the tank afterward if you like.

I would really like to participate in this but I work most every thursday so please try to make it another day of the week if that is possible.

Wednesday nights are good for me in general. Any night during the week except thursday. Monday is rough because I am usually recovering from a long Sunday shift at work.
