I have been very interested lately with air lifts as a means for water movement. Reading Calfo's book intrigues me about a lot of different projects. We could try out some of these ideas at the Gulfarium.

See this thread about green houses and cheap means of water movement: http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=246772&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

and this RCSD, which is a Reverse Carlson Surge Device: http://www.petsforum.com/cis-fishnet/seascope/00SS1705.htm Who wants to build one and test it at the gulfarium (their tanks are bigger and are more foregiving when it comes to splashing).
