Hi Daniel
10 gallons is probably too small for an octopus! The reccomended minimum is closer to 30-35 gallons.

The chances of you keeping an octopus are not so small, just not in such a small tank... they can be easy(ish) to look after but just need space!

There is a lot of information available on this site and TONMO regarding the setting up of octopus tanks, so have a wee browse about. People's experiences here is one of the best ways to learn....

LOL if I left you "all the details" I'd still be here typing next week :) Have a good read

All the best

Easy! With a flat plate over the top with some weight holding it in place... :smokin:

I can change the water every day and take him out for a walk...

Dan, I saw that you wanted respect on another board, it's not your age, it's your actions that will get it. As for your post at Aqualink you said you just wanted to see what everyone would say. That is considered trolling, basically looking for a fight. While that may not be your intention, keep in mind that most of the people are very passionate about our tanks and inhabitants. BTW you do owe him/her an apology.

No problem Dan. Most people really do just want to help. I usually read all the replies to my questions and then weigh out which path I choose to follow. Differing opinions don't always make one wrong.:D
