As was brought up at the last meeting I need some feedback on the upcomming meeting locations/days. I need to lock in dates ASAP in order to try and book speakers/activities. What we are looking at is dates for Oct, Nov & Dec.

Please vote:
- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri or Don't Care

and

- Bensalem All
- Abington All
- or some kind of combination.

Remember Abington is better for formal presentation and any type of AV, but will cost us $25. Bensalem is $0, but no AV.

I'd like to close this in about 1 week, say June 27th. Then I'll book. Thanks everyone,

Jon........

Howdy all!
Yeah I am still alive! Currently my schedule makes me vote for Thurs. but this can change rather rapidly(reefguy has a bad schedule and it can change easily). Just thought I would chime in.

I vote for Tuesday or Wednesday, but I'll show up whenever it gets scheduled. I feel like I can argue for Abington and Bensalem equally; no vote there, and I'll be happy either way.

All-I'll vote for Monday or Tuesday. Since I live in Bensalem, I am a bit biased but I can be easily swayed for Abbington.

Either location and Thursday night would fit nicely into my appointment book.

Abington is closer for those of us coming from the western burbs, but I kinda felt like we were getting the bum's rush having to vacate at 9:00 PM.

I know Dr. Mac was a little late getting there, but a little more time would have been nice.

Same for the "networking" after the meeting with other members. During the warm weather, its ok to continue a conversation in the parking lot, but that'll be a hassle when it starts getting cold.

A venue that let's us go a little later would be better, IMHO.

Just food for thought.

Alan,

Great point about the hours. Abington encourages us to leave at 8:45pm and Bensalem waits to the last minute at 9pm. So there is no real difference. Both lock the doors at 9pm.

Anyone for starting the meeting earlier, say around 6:30 instead of 7pm? Just a thought.

I have enough trouble getting to meetings by 7:00. If you want to start earlier, please leave club business until the end (probably not a bad practice, anyway.)

I agree with Jeff. 7:00 is tough enough, especially to Abington. BTW, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at either location would be my vote.

Based on the feedback here Wednesdays were the winner with 5 out of 9 respondants in agreement.

I've booked the following dates/locations: Oct 16 (Abington), Nov 13 (Bensalem) & Dec 11 (Bensalem)

As for the earlier time issues, I agree, lets keep it at 7pm. However, all rooms have been booked from 6:30pm on. So those that are able can meet informally for a short period before the main meeting.

Hopefully this will fit into most everyone's schedules. Thanks,

Jon...........

My schedule changes every six weeks, any night is fine as long as I have off from work.I work 7am-7pm.If anyone is interested to continue the meeting after 9 pm we could go to a dinner ect. What does everyone think of that idea? :fish2:
