If you are interested in being more involved in the details of this club than simply participating in events, please plan to attend our first planning meeting, scheduled for Saturday, October 7th, at 3PM. We will be meeting at the Fiesta Ranchera on Empire in the Colonial Plaza by K-Mart, Circuit City, and Premium Pet Supply.

We will plan to discuss required positions for an effective board of directors and will hold elections on the spot. Next year we will try to have an online voting option with candidates posted ahead of time, but as this is our first meeting, that will be impossible this go-around.

If you are not interested in holding a position, please come join us anyway. This will be a good meet 'n greet opportunity for all.

Can a mod please sticky this thread?

I will be out of town that weekend. I would like to attend and participate but I have to work that weekend. If you could make it the next weekend it would be better.

The positions we were going to have for now were,

President

Vice president

Treasurer

Secretary

Hmm, the first contested position....

Perhaps i shall attend. Is only 70 miles... and the in-laws ARE coming to visit...

Please do!! I want to meet the man who can do facial reconstruction on canines.

I'm being serious, BTW. My other hobby is Great Danes and animals in general. :)

yes...this is different than michelle's meeting. this meeting will be strictly (well, mostly anyway ;) ) business. michelle's meet will be a "view the tank and socialize" meet.
