So I snapped a lousy pic tonight since I ws holding my camera and was in front of my tank. It's a mess, I haven't cleaned it, it's shoved out from the wall so I could work on the back, and I have animals just tossed on the sand until I move, but here is the pic anyway.

First pic, whole tank:

You can really see that the green calaustrea from the frag meeting has grown a lot.

I will post more pics when/if I have time, I plan on taking a bunch of pics befor eI move it. Just in case... :( Who knows though I also hope to someday clean the tank. :D

I should be moving it this weekend, I think, need to talk w/ the new roomies etc. It will be moving out of my room and into the living room, which will be nice for me.

I also have some neat growth shots, but I have to put them together...

No way, come clean, that is really someone elses tank isn't it

Looks like a good little tank. What are the specs (lighting, tank size, your secret to success)??

Single stalk of cornularia. Been in the tank one month and it's already sprouted two small polyps, hard to see in my lousy pic, but a nice light green.

Tubipora, second try since my keyhole limpet ate the first single polyp frag. If you go to 6th Ave, you can get single polyps that fall off of larger colonies for nothing or almost nothing. Depends on who you ask. This has been in the tank for 1.5 months and finally budded two little ones last week.

This galaxea was in my original 29 Gallon. Inset pics were taken 12-26-01, I got my camera for xmas. :D The coral was free because it was going to die for sure according to the guy at the store. It had been in the tank one week at the time of insets. It is growing into a nice little colony already starting to send out sweepers. :)

I guess the only thing I do out of the ordinary is 20 gallons of water change a week in a ~70 G system.

System specs:

55G upper tank, 20G sump/refugium combo.

Mag950 + 1 175GPH PH

400W Radium on right side
2X55W Chinese actinic PCs

6" of sand that I would not want to eat.

A lot of rock. Some in the sump.

A lot of plants.

US aquarium model 20 skimmer.

kalk + some B-ionic(actually kent Tech CB this time)

Let me know if you have any q's thanks for the compliments.

Sorry the quality on the pics is crap, but I need to get some things ready so I rushed it. My new roommates said I could move the tank a week early, which is this weekend, so I'll be mixing water up tonight.

Wish me luck!

They are way off on how much my sand weighs... I hope. :( I have to lift it and wanted to leave the sand in. I only put in 100#... Hmmm. There is no WAY my acrylic tank weighs 675# though, I carried it up the stairs with one arm. Either that or I'm bigger than I look. ;)

So I guess we have 56 Gallon tanks unless we take into account the other errors in the calculator and say it's all wrong. :bounce3:

If anyone was curious, I can say the move was a success.

After almost 1 week, so far nothing has shown any sign of damage, although I still haven't had a chance to place everything in it's final position. I think everything will be fine.

I even got to catch the crab that was killing my fish, I took a pic, but my computer is dead again. (NEVER buy a sony vaio! Same problem as last time, and now the parts are on back order. Is it a bad sign that they run out of repair parts? :( ) He was about the size of a fifty cent piece, and now lives in Eddie's display near the surge tanks at Tropical Paradise. Hopefully since he now lives with big fish he will do OK without his steady diet of Neon Gobies and Rocketfish.

I will say it was a lot more difficult to carry my tank down the stairs with the sandbed in than I anticipated. Oh well, we made it. :)

It was actually kind of nice to have an excuse to rearrange the rock.
