Hey Gary, talk to me about the t5s. how much and all that good stuff. I havent been able to do much reading on them and know little about'em but I know my electric bill is over $200 a month with my halides. lol
Thanks for any info.
also what you'd reccomend to take the place of the 2- 400w halides and the 2 65w compacts. well I'd probably still use the compacts with the t5s i guess.
Thanks

MY current plans are I am removing 3 250 w halides and 4 96w pc and replacing them with six over driven ( with icecap ballasts) 80w (100w when overdriven) t5 bulbs.
I am not going to be able to give a good review for a month or two but I will keep you posted...

how much that run ya? how much for the ballasts and the bulbs? just want to get an idea of what it would cost me to do something similar. Then see what you get for savings on electric bill and see if its be worth it in the long run. I read that those bulbs last a lot longer as well?
thanks

I have found 660 ballasts on ebay for about 150 shipped..each will run 4 - 4' & under or 3 of the 80s
the rest of the prices are on reefgeek.you need bulbs sockets & reflectors.
or you can buy retro kits from them...w IC ballasts
