My new 8 gallon tank from Tenecor finally arrived today!! Unfortunately, it arrived about a half hour after I got back to work from lunch. I will open it up tonight, and begin setting it up this weekend. I will then try to post some pics on Monday!

I will try to get some pics when I go home for lunch (don' have my own camera yet). It looks great. It has basically a built-in sump (which takes away from the 8 total gallons), but I will be able to hide my heater back there. Plus with all the bio balls removed, I have a large area to grow some macro algae. I think I will need to put another powerhead in (it has one that takes water from the sump back to the main tank), and the light bulb it came with was broken during shipping. But other than that, it looks great. :D

I have no problem telling you how much it cost me. Nothing:D . I won their website's monthly contest last month, and that was my prize. It isn't custom, it is their Flat Back Hex Model 8 Here is a link to it: Table Top.

It came straight from them. It retails (on their site) for $271. I am not sure how much it would cost through a retailer or anyone else.

Scd, it came with a 13W power compact. Unfortunately the bulb was broken during shipping, so I haven't had a chance to fire it up. I am going to home depot this weekend to get a new bulb, but ultimately I plan on putting in 2 32W PCs as soon as I can.

Very nice, you're going to have fun with the set up! I'd move the 13 watt back over the sump/refugium and add the new lights to the front.

I hadn't thought of that Lizbeth, but that is a great idea!! Thanks a lot!
