How do you guys light 3 gallon eclipses? One of my parents friends wants to set up a 3 gallon with low light corals and I was wondering what lights to use to make it strong enough for softies and shrooms.

Believe it or not the stock lighting on the Eclipse 3 can be used for many low light corals. I did it that way for a few months, however I didn't like the way it looked so I took out the original lighting and put in a couple of 13w pc's from ahsupply. I must say the difference is astounding, and depending on what your friend wants to keep they can choose accordingly.

one or two 13 watters would be just fine.

I am using a 13 watt 50/50 on my a 2.5 gallon nano.
This is a new light from Hellolights.com

It is a nicer combo than the straight 13 watt daylight. (Too bright)
