I think we still have that tang, but I'm not sure. The problem with our purple is he has ich right now. He may not anymore, but it's a possibility! I'll find out tonight, and if you still want him, let me know! I'll be going there tomorrow for some supplies to finish up my 40 gal sump!! I think that I can get that 3/4-1/2 Y fitting for about $5, which would be about 3.50 or so. I'll definately check when I get there though!!

There isn't per say a "dwarf" anthias, but most don't really get any larger than 5"! Having a group of three of more would look nice... ony male and about 4 females is ideal! They are also able to change sex if the male were to die, the dominant female would take his place!! They are very beautiful, and a great addition to any tank I think!

Depends on the hours of use. Although, 6 months isn't that old if it has only been used for a total of 3. It would still have another 3 months or more of use if it is 6 months old, and another 6 or more if only used 3. Ask how long he used it for!

I would say deal! I can get a bulb for only 49.99, so your lookin at around 34 or so for a new bulb in 3 months! I checked the store tonight, we can get that lockline for like 4.59 or something like that, and we didn't get any black percs. We didn't really get a good shipment this time! It was good. Sold a nice coral beauty, and I've almost got some people buying the wet/dry filters like what you have, but instead of the bio-balls, I said to put in LR. I also found out that I can get a CO2 system for my discus tank for like $45, including bubble counter!! And, tonight, I may be getting the rest of my stuff for my tank, and finishing it up this weekend!!

Well, yea, but the refills are only $5 a piece!! And I can get a 3 pack for like $12. So, that's only $10 a month on CO2, and about every other month it's only $7 a month! I don't know what I'm gonna do... I may just do a DIY CO2 reactor, and just use yeast and suger. Get a 3 liter bottle, cut a hole in the top, get the bubble counter/diffuser, some airline tubing, and then I'm good!

about the clams, i dont know alot about them. Do you have to feed them seperatly? I would possibley be interested in one though. This friday is no good for me but next friday should be ok. I have family in from out of town this week. Yippie

Kurt, Clams will eat Phyto out of the water column, but it is best to spot feed with some every once in a while! Plus, if you have pods, they will eat those whenever they can!! There are some high intensity clams, and then there are some low light clams as well. The higher light ones are more beautiful than the low light ones. They can be hard to keep, but they can be easy if you have the right set up for them!!
Next friday is better for me too!! Just makin sure we are still on for it!

Alright!! I got it all plumbed up, filled it up, and everything works as planned!! I did have to remove the added piece of PVC from the drain, and just let the elbow do the work. Keeps it exactly where it should, and is actually pretty quiet! I still need to get some Teflon tape for the threads, but other than that... IT WORKS PERFECT!!! I'm getting excited, and I can't wait to get discus!!

Hmm how much does a nice clam run? Im interested in one but also want some other corals before i get one if there expensive.

I was also thinking, we could all go in on one of those frag packs from dr macs and then when we get them split them up, after they grow out everyone gets a frag of the other ones. Sound like a good idea or a bad one? Doesnt have to be from dr mac just first one that came to mind. I think you get 9 for $100 (idk what shipping is). Or would it be better to just get it from andrew?

A nice clam runs around $60 for a small one, and if you get a rare color morph, your looking at closer to $90 or more for one. They are pretty expensive!!
The frags would be better to get from Andrew only b/c he gets them at cost which is much cheaper, and sells them for a very good price to the rest of us!!

i have had a clam for two years now in my 125 under 250 watt mh. i only feed cyclopeeze once a week. the clam is about three times as big as when i got it. i believe they get most of there norishment from the photosensitive do dads(technical term)
in their mantle:p

Yea, clams live off the sun more than they depend on catching food. They are filter feeders, and the cyclopeeze would have to be fed direclty on them! They also like oyster eggs a lot, and live phyto! You can get some really beautiful ones too, and if well lit, along with food, they will grow and the colors intensify!!

Nothing, she is b#@ching about the new pc we got about not have usb jacks in the front of the computer....and i mentioned, there are 6 of them on the back..which i already inserted all which we needed....but she the says, so its a piece of s$#t...i said nope not really being its 100x faster, more memory and all around better runny, god forbid it dont have jacks in the front like are old...with computers if it is new its bad for her! So she hung up after that, i can just tell when i talk to her first thing in morning what kind of days its going to be, and today is going to be sh$tty

Yea, I built my wife's PC, and at some point, she erased drivers for the USB, in which I could then not get them working again! So, now she only has 2 USB's in the back via a PCI card that has USB 2.0 on it. Which is all she needs right now!! I have a 4 port USB hub on my computer, along with 2 in the front. I love it! I don't use my USB's in the front except for my jump drive. Have her talk to me about computers, I'll convice her that what she has is good! I did that with my wife!!

Hey, theres no talking to her till february 13th....give or take a few days..lol Did somehow talk her into getting a golden retriever from a breeder in Zanesville Ohio....but litter wont be ready till December....
