Well, I'm sureI'm wrong on this, but.....I start off with a 13 watt(pc,blue) around 6 AM, increase it with 26 watts(pc,blue+white)(total 39 watts) around 7 AM and then reverse that at 9 PM, lights out at 10. This is on a 5 gallon tank.

10 gal at work with 2x36 w PC's: On at 8 am, off at 7 pm.
37 gal at home with 2x55 PC's + 13 watt PC + spillage from 2x13 watt PC on refugium:
ON-
13 watt at 1 pm, 2x13 at 1:30 pm, 2x55 at 2 pm.
OFF-
2x55 at 1am, 2x13 at 1:30pm, 13 watt at 2 am
All my lights are tuned to my work schedule/home time. :D

My lights are on 11am-9pm, so that they'er on for a few hours when I get home. I'm going to add an NO light that will run from 1--10 for dusk/dawn effect.
My 2x55w pc on a 15g go on at 7am and off at 2:30pm....
I only see the tank with lights on in the morning and on weekends... I chose this format for heat reasons. Soon there will be someone home everyday(house temp will be lower) so I likely will adjust the time slowly to be on for more of the day.
Actually, since I don't have any light "loving" corals, etc I am testing just using a single 55w until my livestock requires more.
