I volunteered to host a club meeting in October; but my first Saturday off is October 14th. So, how about having a meeting at 1 PM on October 14th at my home? We will have some finger foods, so please PM me any allergies so I stay away from those foods!

Please put any ideas on this thread that you have for the meeting.

I will put directions here later as we get closer to the date.

He was banned. Long story, I can relate story at the October meeting if Eric allows me to. Maybe he can make the meeting.

why not do an lps meeting, and just wondering, how come the meetings aren't held at a public place, like a vfw hall or something like that, just not enough people? I don't mean to offend anyone, especially you bryan89, for offerig to let us come to your home...

Two reasons we aren't at a public place, I think. first is we are still starting up and only have a dozen or so per meeting. But the real reason I like the in home approch is it is a chance to see eachothers set ups 1st hand and get ideas. personally I can not wait to see Bryan's set up. very exicted

I would also say that we do it at houses because it is free and we are not a wealthy club. :)

My address is 7309 Vanista Court. Phone is 229 8598.

Closest major streets are Perryville and Rote. State St to Perryville (North). Right (East) on Rote. Left (North) on Grandchester. Right (East) on Vanista Ct. Home is third house on the right.

By the way, how many should I expect? I am ordering pizza for everyone and would like to know how much to get.

I won't be able to go, but Bryan knows that. I just wanted to say I was over there the other day and HOLY COW what a setup! It is everyone's dream setup. He's got ALL the gadgets. If you were debating between going and not going, GO you won't be disappointed. And make sure you bring a hand kerchief or Kleenexes, you'll need them to clean up your drool. I didn't bring one and my sleeve was all wet by the time I left. LOL!

Okay all, I have a little update and a somewhat strange tale. Yes, I am still having the meeting on Saturday at 1 PM. :) However, I am unsure how clean my basement will be. Why? :confused: :o

My daughter had tonsil surgery Tuesday and while she was in the recovery room I saw her blood and passed out. I fell on my butt then back straight away. I guess I also sort of dropped my 6 month old son from about 2 feet. All of us are mostly okay...I am the worst off. I either broke or severely bruised my tailbone in the fall. So, it is a pain in the @$# (literally) to do anything.

It is sort of the luck I have been having lately. Anyway, I still want to have everyone over, especially since all of you will be missing the frag swap to attend. Only request I have - I get the chair with a pillow. :)

Sure hope you and everyone else gets feeling better soon!

Are you sure you want to go ahead and do this? Anything I can do or bring to make it easier on you?
