View Full Version : got home from rocky point to a burned out bulb

title says it all...one of my actinics went out. so i now need a 96w square pin actinic bulb that is around 34 inches long.

I dont need it to be perfectly new, but i also dont want one thats about to go out either...And i would need it to be pretty cheap (broke from vacations lol) or i can trade a button polyp frag for it.

I'll try posting some pics of rocky point later tonight as soon as they finish uploading. I got about 3 bags of shells. Mostly turbo snail shells (at least thats what i think they are...same shape just a little dif. design) But most of them are too big for what i'm gonna use them for...their mostly full grown turbo size, but there are some that are pretty small, so i'll use a few of those. But if anyone wants any of them for anything, feel free

got any pics of the polyp ?
i get those bulbs for under $30
i have to get 2 actinics soon i have 4 white ones... i am going to 2 whites and 2 actinics very soon i hope this week. or 2 175mhs and two actinics

yes i do have a pic of the polyps. Its just got about 10 polyps on it (and a few more baby polyps) i'll try and get my picture of it off of photobucket real quick....

heres the main colony...dont mind all the white specs...just pods on the glass that makes it look like something is on the polyps.

here they are under actinics...they normally have way more green in them (even when the daylight is on too) but since i've only got one actinic you dont see it.

and heres the frag that i've got. I suppose that i could break of a little bit bigger of a piece too, but i'd rather just use this (the rock broke off and this was on the piece that fell off) srry for the crap picture lol. i put it under the most shaded part of the tank for some stupid reason.

I do reallize that this frag is nowhere near 30 bucks (i got the whole colony for less lol) but if you'd still do the trade that would be great.
