T5 help

i got a new T5 bulb 48" long and tried to put it in my sockets and ts about 1/2 inch sorter than the other bulbs. What is wrong?any thought?

There is a 46.5" T5 HO bulb length and a 48" T5 HO bulb length. Maybe you got the wrong one?

ok i just measured and mine from pin to pin is 46.5in.

The new bulb labeled 48" measures 54 3/4in from pin to pin.

what is up with that i was told that my fixture was a 48 in fixture

That is weird, I ran those bulbs in my 48" fixture for 2 years, I bought it from Coral Vue, strange. Blas
