Willing to work out a deal, partial trades, payments, full up trades (wife wants a Curio Cabinet)... Consider this a little Flea Market. I have lots of extras to go with it if need be.

It is here:

I have a pair of CSL 175w MH's (Magnetic, not electronic) with parabolic reflectors, mogul sockets and bulbs. Now, Arthur, aka, Noobtank said he wanted them two weeks ago and I have not heard from him since. I am going to find out if he still wants them and if he doesn't, are you interested.

I just may be interested. 2 x 175 = 350w + 440w vho = nearly 8 watts per gallon. I can handle that.

Are they plug and play ready? I have just started researching Mh. What's the diff. between magnetic and electric? ballast included/needed?

I'll do some research today. If you have a link handy, it would be helpful. or some pictures when you can.

Oh yea, how much you asking for them?

thanks Mr. James. :)

Picstures of my 175's are in my gallery. I broke the watts per gallon rule many years ago and never looked back, when I put a 250w MH paired by 2 x 36w actinics over a 20H (20 gallon tall) and my corals darn near grew out of my tank. There are guys here putting 400w MH's over 30g tanks. These are retro mh's, like what you saw over my 180g during themeeting. You will need to install them into a canopy. Yes, they are plaug and play once you get them installed. The bulbs are another story altogether. They work, but they are nearing 6 months of usage and you will need to replace them soon. Just about any of the sponsors here sell metal halides, but I have mostly purchased from the sale boards. I just bought and sold some powerheads last night for instance.

Dxtr, I am asking $125 for the 2 x 175w system. That is what Arthur (Noobtank) and I had agreed on, but he was supposed to pick it up 2 weeks ago or so. If I don't hear from him soon, it will be up for sale again.

mr. james,

it appears that noobtank is not purchasing your lights. I would like to for the $125.00 you stated.

Please let me know when you are available and I will arrange a pick up.

I think you are out of town, so send me a PM when you get back.

Hooker - let me know when you are Ok to sell yours as well, as I know you still have it on your tank.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

Mr. James. Lights are hooked up and running wonderfully! Thanks. I hit the hardware store and re did one of the cables, but other than that, they are looking great.

Did you get anything from Aquaria or the other LFS in P'cola?
