My name is Will and I am located in the great city of Tallahasseee, I see that most of you are further West of Tally. My current setup is a RR 55 gal, that is in the process of ordering a few more parts, here are some pics of how it sits.

I need to find a skimmer and I should be set. I need something with a height of no more than 24" and a footprint of 11x8. The water level will be at 10" also. I do not want to skimp on the skimmer, if anyone knows of anything for sale let me know. I cant find anything decent in this size.

That will fit, but is it 1/2 decent?

Yea it looks good in my "fish room." You need to come by this weekend.

Wonder why it's so cheap? But yeah, that design is what I was trying to build myself. No go this weekend. Like every other weekend, I have to do **** to the car. And whatever it is, takes longer when I don't have a floor jack to do it. I'm thinking of putting back on my stock steering knuckles w/ all the downgraded brake goodies and putting the stock seats back in since they're just taking up space. It never ends with this car.

Nice looking tank, from the pic it looks much bigger, like a 125g or so!! Looks like you are going to do a closed loop, judging by the holes in the back. What size pump do you plan to use?? AS for the skimmer, I normally recommend an MRC product in the chance that you may upgrade later and the MR-1 will do you right. I had one on my 75g with no problems. I don't know about the Octopus, but I have read some mixed reviews about it.

I was planning to use a mag5 for the closed loop, hopefully that is enough flow. And I am gonna try the Octopus skimmer probably. The price is right, for now. I have other hobbies that own my life for the next few months. I need to get this thing up and runing.

How far is Crestview from Tallahasee James?
