Some of you have used Home Depot Sand. A few have said that they used the one that passed the vinegar test. Can you tell which sand that was?

BTW, if you have Southdown or sugar-fine aragonite sand that you would like to get rid of, please let me know. I am looking for some, actually a lot. It can be used or unused, wet or dry. Either is OK with me

Let me know and we can work something out.

Was your HD sand white or brown? 99% silica?

How is the color? Do you notice lots of worms and stuff in the sand? How does the size compare to South Down sand?

I have about 5 gallons of sand that is now mostly dry. It came out of a tank I re-setup a few weeks ago and I just didn't want as much sand as it used to have. My daughters even spent a long time cleaning it so it is in good shape. A trade for any livestock (frags, etc) I don't have would be a nice, but not required, jesture. I'm in south Chandler so if you can make it to the area you can have it.

You can also try Dr Foster Smith- they have aragonite. 30lbs for $22 and they don't charge for overweight fees which means you can get 300lbs shipped for $15 if you want.
