I need to have a glass top cut for my 10g. hexagon. Does anybody know of a good economical place in the vicinity of Dobson/Baseline or somewhere nearby? My plastic top has got to go. :)

I had Chandler Glassworks cut the baffles for my sump, had a good experience with them. But, why do you need a glass top for your tank?

I had cut out a space for my skimmer, and the edges are jagged. It was a real pain to cut it and I don't know how to smooth it out. Also, I am planning to change the lighting and it only has a narrow "window" for the light to come through. Any ideas for lighting my tiny tank?

Also, I think it will look better than the brown plastic I have now. I'll give D & L Chandler Glassworks a call. Thanks for the referral.

i would suggest not getting a glass top. since you're getting lights, you could try to just make a small canopy? i made one w/open sides (for ventilation) for my 55 for less than 25, and i've got a ton of extra plywood...so i'd say you could get by w/like 15 bucks or so..

but i personally dont like glass tops because they can cause some problems, but ya...

Isn't there a guy named glassguy who posts here sometime? I think he runs a glass company and I know he has a big reef. Maybe do a quick search and shoot him a PM.
