FS - Brand New Custom-Made 155G Oceanic Tank and Stand - Peninsula Style (Room Divider)
I have a brand new, never used, custom-made Oceanic tank I am considering selling. It is 155G - Dimensions are 60"L x 24"W x 25"H
This was a custom job made by Oceanic. I had them build it with a single overflow centered on one of the shorter ends - this was so that the tank could be used peninsula-style or as a room-divider viewable on 3 sides. The overflow is drilled with 4 holes - 2 accept 1" bulkheads and 2 accept 3/4" bulkheads. Those of you who are familar with Oceanic might also know that their tanks come with nicer trim than your standerd tank, plus slightly thicker glass and neater silicone-work. In addition, this tank has a matching black oak stand (also never used).
Oceanic warrants their tanks for 5 years, I believe, as long as you use one of their stands with it. Anyone who buys this will be provided with the sales receipt so they have a record of the sale and therefore the warranty info.
I do not want to make any money from this tank, but I do want to sell it at my cost. However, my cost was a wholesale cost from a LFS. We were doing a mutual 'help me' - 'help you' agreement. I was helping them drum up some business for a new place and providing a handful of coral frags here and there - they were helping me out with a beautiful new tank at their cost.
The tank is not cheap - $1250 total for tank, stand, covers. So serious inquiries only please. If you are seriously looking for something like this, just contact Oceanic or a LFS in your area and have them price out a similar tank and stand for you. I think you'll find that they want in the neighborhood of 1600-1700 for it.
Ohh, BTW, I'm only getting rid of it (maybe) because the placement of the tank has changed and new options opened up.
