Now I have come across this forum and Ted was telling me about this club, I am interested in joining. I can even host a meeting if you guys ever need a place, Id love to show my tank off and maybe even get some good feedback and maybe just maybe I can help someone out also with something!!!! Im still learning and NEED to learn alot more, unfortunatly I cant trade any frags or anything yet as I only have a couple of things in the tank so far!!! But when that time comes Id love to trade and help out in any way!!! Here is a pic of my tank as it sits now. And also I provided a link to the thread I started almost 3 months ago on it....

Beautiful tank. WElcome to Anchor. You are a member when you say you are a member. Keep your eyes on our forum for directions to our next meeting, which will be held at BankerJohn's house in Lecanto. Feel free to let us know if you can make it. Many of us brings frags to share with each other.

Yes, you can host sometime. We love to check out each other's tanks ; ) and several of the men-folk are technically adept.

What a beautiful set up you have : )

Hello all-

We have been a member for a while but never really taken the time to introduce ourselves. Our names are John and Rebecca and we live in Spring Hill. I was introduced to this site by Adnup. (Thanks again...this site is the best!!) And by the way, the Kenya tree is doing great! It is fully expanded and growing like crazy! I will try to remember to post a pic.

We started our tank in January of this year and so far it is going well. Here is a pic of our tank from about 2 weeks ago.

http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/125326full_tank.JPG

It is not the best, but I am still learning the best ways to get photos of the tank. We are always open to suggestions on ways to improve it so please do not hesitate to make suggestions.

Right now we have a 55 gallon, but plan to upgrade that w/in the next year or so. Maybe a 90-120 gallon or so. I also shop primarily at Get Tanked...they are the nicest people in Spring Hill to deal with IMO. They are always so helpful!

We really hope to make it to the August meeting to put a face with the some of the names here. Also, does anyone have a cup or two of live sand that they can sell us to help seed our sand? We have had it for 6+ months and the sand still does not seem to "live".

We are glad to be a member here and look forward to meeting everyone.

Rebecca and John

Hawkeye, we have our meetings the first Saturday of the Month and we are a group that lives in the 3 counties North of St. Pete.

You are always welcome. Good luck with the woodworking. I know it is a wonderful hobby. My father has a great wood shop. Someday we hope to inherit some of the equipment, but my brother will probably get it as he lives right across the street.
