Anyone have any experience with these guys? Saw them at Baltimore Aq. and they were amazing.

there was a pretty good discussion on these guys on seahorses.org Just do a search in their forums and you'll see it there. To sum it up, yeah, they're really cool and "don't try this at home folks". They're really expensive (if you can even get one) and there requirements are about 1000 times harder than any common seahorse. They are deep/cold water species that likes a calm 300+ gallon environment and their feeding requirements would make a person go through hell just keeping them happy. They're awesome to see, but should be left to the public aquariums and the deep blue sea for now. perhaps as more technology develops and bigger tanks aren't so difficult.

I believe it's a protected animal so until a captive breeding program is developed, we won't be seeing these for sale to the aquarist. Very cool dragons!

They are almost impossible to keep, even public aquariums have troubles. I've read somewhere of a seadragon that was in a big tank with seahorses, in a public aquarium. The seahorses hitched to the seadragon, which made it stress and it died.
