Does anybody have any tips for taking photos with an automatic camera. Obviously a tripod is a must, but what else should I do to improve the quality? Should I turn off all room lights and use the camera on night mode? I also have a mode on my camera for taking shots through glass but I get the feeling that it is intended for large scenery shots through glass and not close ups. Should I Just turn the flash off? Or should I take my pics on an angle to avoid the reflection?
BTW, it's one of those Kodak Advanitx cameras and I am using 400 ISO film.

So many questions...I should just get a digital camera.

400 speed may be a bit slow, it is in my 35mm. I use 800, but am gonna use 1600. Is this speed avail. for Advantix?
Keep the lens and tank glass parallel, and no flash. Asfar as that goes, it should work fine, I use a 35mm for all my pix.
