light for LR?

we just put 20 lbs of LR on our 55 gal FO tank today and i was wondering how much light do they need.... we have just regular flourescent lamps that came with the tank... would that be enough?

Hello JawFish177,

For a FOWLR tank the lighting is up to you. The rock does not need light to do it's job. Your NO lights should be fine, if they provide the look you are happy with. If you increase the lighting you may invite more algae. Hope this helped, good luck.
