Help... Brown Stuff On Sand

Please help... I am new at this- I have brown stuff on my sand and it looks like it is growing on the sides of my tank now. I have a 150G and its only been running for 2 weeks... what is it and what do I do????

It sounds like you are starting your first issue of algae through the tank's cycle.
Please visit the local reef club website and read more about it and what else to expect.

Thank you. I went to the web site and got some really good information. Looks like its all normal- I used RO water and Live Fuji sand. I have a little bit of live cured rock (my friend gave me from her tank) as well in there. My bulbs are all fairly new(about 2 months old)... so I guess now I just wait it out, huh? Thanks again!
