Reef Lamps

I recently bought 2 packs of reef lamps for my compact, 1 week later, 1 of the strips went out. My ? is has anyone used reef lamps and if so what was the outcome. Is it better to use just the 10k and the actinic or what, I use the 55/65 watt bulbs

I have never heard of reef lamps. Who makes them?
Coralife and Sunpaq are more commonly used and reliable ime. I think most people use the 50/50's which is half 10000k and the other half actinic.

Aquatraders are notorious for bad ballasts.
