Please mind the pic, I just moved the coral and touched everything :\
The leather is about a week old and was in a spot where it wasn't doing too well (too much lateral flow, it was blowing in one direction the whole time).

I'd keep a close eye on the leather. The zoas are likely to sting it. I keep my yellow clear away from all other corals for just that reason. If you start seeing any spots on it, I'd move it right away.

if the leather dosent open up... move it.

When the leather has a long enough stalk to keep the umbrella type portion above the zoanthids usually okay. However, that close I would move the coral. This is the major downside of allowing your zoanthids to encrust onto your main rock structures. I like to keep mine totally isolated so they don't take over.
