I had this start growing in my fuge almost 1 year ago. Now it is about 3 1/2 in. tall. It is currently in a fuge with NO florescent 10 watt light. I have tried to move to the show tank but it wilts badly and seems to look bad.

Can anyone tell me if this is a lemalea coral or what? and what is the proper care?

I believe they meant Lemnalia. I have no experience with the coral myself, but everything I've read says they're pretty standard branching coral fare. Props by dropping off mini colonies.

Try posting in this (http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=524097) thread. I'm sure people there would be very interested.

David, definitely, we need an azooxanthellae corals forum :D

I agree with David, I´ve also participate in that post, and these guys could be interested on your succes with this coral.

Talonn, yes, I also think it´s a Lemnalia:

Some species could be partially photosynthetic, yours seems to be azooxanthellae, that´s why it seems to be better in your fuge, with lot of live plancton, than in the main tank, with more light, but less food.

Take care it, it´s georgeus.

Good luck,

Dani

There is no forum, unless your talking about the forum that thread is in. It would be better if you posted in the thread I linked. That's probably what you meant just making sure, but of coarse you can post it any where you like. :)
