Hi All,
At our meeting this past Sunday we discussed a few different options for our June meeting. This meeting will be our one year anniversery and be mostly a social gathering. Also, we will hold elections for officers. The options discussed were:

1. Barbecue at a members home

2. Meet at a LFS

3. Meet at a resturant

Please reply to this post with you preference ASAP so we can make arrangements. Also if anyone is interested in hosting the meeting let us know.
Thanks,
Steve

Barbecue at a members home or park!

Also Steve Scott was talking about posting a poll as a sticky tonight. He might just alter this post.

FishGEEK - PARK!!! What a great idea... earlier in the AM (11:00) to avoid possible t-storms or under a pavilion. Pot Luck... everyone bring something. Break us away from the nose prints we leave on everyones tank every month. Opinions?

BBQ gets my vote too. But, will someone bring their tank so we can continue the "nose print" tradition? :)

there's some nice parks around here if you all decide to have the meeting at a park.

The parks may have an issue with drinking beer!
Perhaps I can con my roomate into throwing a big ol fashion bash at my house. Huge yard, good grill, and my tank is there too. Plus we can drink beer until we...well...umm

Let me check on that.

any other ideas? I can ask Oceans Apart tomorrow when I'm making my weekly trip to pick up RO water if they would like to host the june or another meeting in their confernce room or in their show room.

I think that we would be willing to have it at our place, but we are out of town the first weekend of June. If you wanted to do it the 9th (second weekend) we might be able to do it (I will have to get permission from the better half first)!!!

Think about it...

Hi Troy and Karin,
Yours is the best (potential) offer so far. Let us know if June 9th will work? Maybe we could bring some "coral"warming, oops I mean housewarming gifts if you host our BBQ.
Steve
Sorry for the Double post:blown:

Karin said that it would be alright to have it at our place.

What is the plan... pot luck... BBQ... Beer... We have a good size grill and plenty of space.

Maybe we should start posting what everyone is going to bring and see where we stand.

Well then it is settled:) The meeting will be on the 9th at Karin and Troys. We will do a pot luck. I will start another thread where everyone can post what they want to bring.
