Hello, Please excuse the dollar signs! This was first written up as kind of a shopping list so I could see what needed to be purchased and what I already had... If I could have some opinions on this setup I would appreciate it!

Would a Weekly 4 Gallon Water Changes done with discarded water from main reef tank be a bad idea? The water would be coming from an extremely understocked and well maintained tank, Comments please

Im just a beginner at keeping octo's but that looks good to me.

The only thing is that I think the salinity should be higher, around 36 ppt.

Hi Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Looks good. You just have to rasire the salinity up to 1.025/36ppt and drop your temp to below 74 degrees. Bimacs do best between 60-70F They will live at up to 79 but the life span will be greatly reduced. They are from the pacific USA and like cooler water. They are not a tropical species.
You might want to invest in a good skimmer and have some way of running your water though carbon.
